Disclosing a disability is a very personal decision, and for people living
with HIV/AIDS (PHAs) it can be extremely difficult considering the stigma
that still exists around this disease.
Legally, a person is not required to disclose to an employer the nature of their disability. A client may claim they have a disability and need a workplace accommodation, but by no means are they required to disclose the details of their disability.
